Morgan Dudley Named MSU Riley Center Director
MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - The MSU Riley Center has a new executive director, but she’s certainly no stranger to the school or facility.
Morgan Dudley is an MSU alum and previously served as Director of Conferences, Events and Operations for the Riley Center. She joined the center in 2019 as an assistant ticket manager and quickly was promoted to house manager where she facilitated contracts and volunteers.
She now will oversee the former Grand Opera House, which closed in 1927, but was restored and renovated before its reopening in 2006.
“To be a part of this organization with Mississippi State University and the Riley Foundation and other community members of support for years past and to current,” said Dudley. “It’s one that I can’t even put words to it. The responsibilities are a lot and I can feel the weight of those. It’s one of those that we do with passion and I’m excited to get that started.”
Dudley says the MSU Riley Center expects to announce a couple of new shows added to the 2024-25 schedule within the next few weeks.
