Balloon release being held for victims of Christmas Eve shooting in Lauderdale County

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - Tuesday night, community members will be gathering for a balloon release in memory of the victims lost in the shooting in Lauderdale County on Christmas Eve.

The release will be on Tuesday at the Toomsuba Ball Park, and it will begin at 5 p.m.

This release will be in memory of Shunda Brown, Buddy Mosley, and Treyvone Young.

People who do attend are requested to bring a white balloon and a candle.

Donations will also be collected and given back to the families who lost their loved ones.
