Meridian’s Ale Trail set for Friday Night

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - Friday will be a fun night in Meridian as the city invites residents and visitors to embark on the Never Ending Summer Ale Trail.

The event will run from 5:00 until 10:00 and include cocktails, beer, food, live entertainment and much more.

Participants can pick up their Ale Trail cards between 5:00 & 7:00 in front of Fare on Eighth and then go on a taste of the town tour with stops at several venues.

“Well one, they’re fun,” said Matt Schanrock, Director of Meridian Main Street. “It’s a great way to experience downtown. We do have some people that come to all of them, but we also have a lot of visitors that come into town. That’s the best way to experience it if you’re new to town. They can experience all our bars and restaurants kind of in one night if they choose.”

The evening will wrap up around 10 pm at The Brickhaus, where door prizes will be drawn for those that turn in completed cards.
