Popular frozen foods recalled for potential plastic contamination, FDA says

(Gray News) – MorningStar Farms has voluntarily recalled two varieties of frozen foods for the possible presence of plastic in the food.

The company known for its wide variety of vegetarian and plant-based alternatives is recalling its Buffalo Chikn’n Nuggets and Hot and Spicy Sausage Patties, the Food and Drug Association (FDA) said.

The recalled varieties were sold in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Costa Rica.

According to the FDA, the affected products in the U.S. include the following varieties:
