Kyra Lampley is a native of Laurel, Mississippi. She received her undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi.
While in undergrad, she served as editor of the Student Printz newspaper, Executive Director of the Southern Miss Student Media Center and was a news anchor for Southern Miss TV.
Kyra always knew she wanted to be on tv and even grew up watching WDAM. A fun fact about her is that she started her WDAM journey as an intern and enjoys singing!
