Melissa was born and raised in North Carolina where she graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Broadcast and Electronic Journalism. She is a big Tar Heel sports fan and worked for the Carolina Football team in college.
She has experience interning as a Reporter at WXII 12 news in Winston-Salem, N.C. and as a Media Production Assistant at bigO agency in Dublin, Ireland.
She prefers the beach over mountains and tea over coffee.
Melissa loves traveling, reading, going to concerts and trying new restaurants. This is her first time in Mississippi and she is excited to explore the Pine Belt.
