A Meridian business was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday morning.

Police were called to the LoanMax in the 3900 block of 8th Street around 10:30 a.m. Store employees told police two men wearing bandannas entered the business and stole money from the cash drawer.

Police say it's too early to know if these two suspects have a connection to the other armed robberies that have happened in the past few weeks.

“We are still early in the investigation. We are working on some leads and developing leads. We are asking anyone with any information to give us a call or give Crimestoppers a call,” Capt. John Griffith says.

If you have information call police or Crimestoppers line at 855-485-TIPS.
