MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - Meridian police have asked the ATF and U.S. Marshals Service to help them capture Shalan Graham.

Arrest warrants have been issued for a suspect police say was involved in a shooting and armed robbery last month.

Investigators say Graham got into an altercation with his ex-girlfriend outside a home in the 700 block of 45th Avenue Apr. 16 and shot a man who was trying to protect the woman.

Police say the next day, Graham robbed the Loan Max on 8th Street at gunpoint.

Investigators say Graham robbed the loan store because he knew he was a suspect in the shooting and wanted to grab some quick cash to skip town.

Graham will be charged with aggravated assault by shooting, shooting into a dwelling and armed robbery when he’s caught.

Authorities say they believe Graham is still in Lauderdale County. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone who has information on Graham's whereabouts may report it through Crimestoppers at 855-485-8477. You do not have to give your name.
