Authorities search for double homicide suspect

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - Meridian police say Cedric Rogers is wanted for a double homicide that happened in late May.

Police say Cedric Rogers will be facing capital murder charges for the shooting deaths of Talimon Edwards and Elbert Carpenter, Jr.

Investigators say Rogers was robbing Edwards and Carpenter Jr. when the two were shot and killed in the 2200 block of 44th Avenue.
