Butler man killed at Clarke Co., Alabama mill

THOMASVILLE, Ala. (WTOK) - A man from Choctaw County was killed Saturday evening at a plant in Clarke County, Alabama.

Thomasville Mayor Sheldon Day posted a press release to his Facebook page saying the incident took place Saturday just after 5:00 p.m. at the Louisiana Pacific mill. According to the press release, the victim is 21-year-old Dylan Sealey, who was an electrician at the plant.

"We are deeply saddened by Dylan's passing," LP Clarke County Plant Manager Jim Motes says. "Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and son, family, friends and co-workers during this difficult time."

LP is investigating along with OSHA officials.
