Choctaw County issues missing person alert

CHOCTAW COUNTY, Ala. (WTOK) - The Choctaw County (Ala.) Sheriff's Department says Mary Annette Sims has been missing since Oct. 29, 2018. The sheriff is asking the public to call with any information that may help to locate Sims.

Sims is white, 45-years-old, 5' 4" and about 160 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes.

Her family last saw Sims Saturday, Oct. 27. The last reported sighting of Sims was Monday, Oct. 29, around 9:15-9:30 a.m., when Choctaw County deputies conducted a traffic stop on Sims at the intersection of Needham Road and Alabama Highway 17.

She was driving a beige 1996 Mercury Cougar with Alabama tag 15AV618.

Sims is known to frequent the areas of Butler and Needham, Ala., in addition to the Stateline and Waynesboro, Miss., area.
