SHUBUTA, Miss. (WTOK) - The rain may be over but Clarke County isn't out of the woods yet. Emergency Management of Clarke County sent teams to Shubuta to assess the damage caused by flooding. The teams were made up of volunteers from local churches and community organizations. Officials say Shubuta was one of the communities that got hit the hardest in Clarke County.
"They are gathering information that let's us know what the community needs are," said Emergency Management Director Eddie Ivy.
"Today we are in the Shubuta area because that is the most densely populated area affected," said Ivy.
