10/12/19 - The cold front that passed through the area yesterday knocked our temperatures down quite a bit. Most places are at least 20 degrees cooler compared to this time yesterday! For the rest of tonight, expect clouds to linger around - especially into west Alabama with lows dropping to the low 50s. Our northern counties could see lows in the upper 40s overnight.
Sunday, the cold front that brought us the cooler weather will lift back to the north as a warm front. This will increase the chance for scattered showers during the day tomorrow, as well as bring in warmer air - highs will be in the upper 60s and low 70s.
Looking ahead: The warm front will stall out and become stationary to our north, keeping the chance for rain through Tuesday night. Rain could be heavy at times with a rumble of thunder possible too. Another cold front arrives on Wednesday with another batch of cooler and drier air. Lows will return to the 40s Wednesday night.
