Cold start to December
After an active day yesterday, a drier and cooler pattern has settled in but also has brought breezy conditions across the twin states.
Breezy conditions will continue through the overnight hours tonight, with a northwest wind between 10 - 15 mph and higher gusts. Lows will bottom out around 34. A few locations may be flirting with the freezing mark by daybreak tomorrow.
Winds will begin to die down but we will remain sunny and dry. Don't let the sun fool you though, highs will only top out in the upper 40s. You will need the layers on through out the day. Tomorrow night, lows will drop to the upper 20s so you will want to bring in any sensitive vegetation as well as your pets.
The majority of the week ahead will showcase dry and sunny conditions due to a ridge of high pressure to the west. Mornings will be chilly with highs gradually warming through out the week. Thursday nigh, clouds will return, as well as the chance for a shower. The majority of the rain will occur Friday morning and through out the afternoon.
