The severe weather threat is fading quickly as the atmosphere stabilizes. Most of our area can still expect some heavy rain through tonight, but the rain will be followed by sharp cooling on Thursday.
Thursday's high temperature in the 60s will likely happen just after midnight. Temperatures will drop quickly, and we will head out the door Thursday morning to lower 50s - possibly even upper 40s in our cooler areas.
Beneath clouds, the day isn't likely to warm much. The day won't get any warmer than mid-50s, though it may be cooler. The late afternoon will cool into the upper 40s. We will likely freeze Friday morning and again Saturday morning.
