Happy Thursday! Showers will come to an end during our morning hours with temperatures in the upper-40s and 50s. Patchy fog will be possible in spots this morning. Even as the rain leaves, we'll continue to see mostly cloudy skies for the rest of our Thursday as afternoon temperatures stay in the low-50s. Clouds will begin to decrease tonight as cold, dry air begins to filter in. Temperatures will drop into the low-30s by Friday morning. After a few morning clouds, we'll see lots of sunshine for Valentine's Day, but it will be a bit chilly with highs only in the low-50s.
Temperatures will drop into the upper-20s by Saturday morning thanks to clear skies during the overnight hours. Saturday will feature mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper-50s. A disturbance will move to the south of our area on Sunday, but some of the northern portions of this system will clip our area bringing with it a chance of scattered showers, especially during the morning hours. Morning lows on Sunday will be well above freezing and afternoon highs will be in the low-60s.
Scattered showers will be possible on Monday as highs climb into the upper-60s. Tuesday will feature mostly cloudy skies with a chance of scattered showers. Highs will return to the mid-70s on Tuesday, but a cold front looks to move into our area Tuesday night, leading to cooler temperatures heading into Wednesday. The front will stall out on Wednesday, keeping us under mostly cloudy skies with scattered shower chances. Highs on Wednesday will likely only be in the low-to-mid-50s.
