We had a few showers move through the area early this morning. Meridian Regional Airport picked up 0.11" of rain. Otherwise, our Sunday has been pleasant and most of us got into the low 60s for high temperatures today. That was due to the sunshine coming out this afternoon.
Patchy fog will be possible tonight, into the early morning hours tomorrow. Depending on how much clearing we get overnight, there could even be a few areas of dense fog. Lows tonight will fall into the upper 40s. Where more cloud cover exists, patchy drizzle could be in the mix as well.
Partly cloudy skies in the morning will give way to mostly cloudy skies into the afternoon. Moisture will begin to increase as a warm front advances north and over the area late Monday, bringing the chance for a few showers. Highs will top out in the upper 60s.
Tuesday, a cold front will move through the area providing a chance for a few thunderstorms. As of now, severe weather is not expected. With the latest data, Wednesday actually looks to be mostly dry but overcast conditions will remain. Late Wednesday night, into Thursday widespread rain will move through with temperatures falling. A cold rain looks to be the best bet Thursday morning, then clearing out Thursday evening.
