08/18/19 - We've been dry the past two days, but that ended today as a few pop-up storms developed this afternoon. Before storms moved through, we reached a high temperature of 97 in Meridian. Most places saw temperatures in the mid to upper 90s this afternoon. Expect calm conditions overnight with only a few passing clouds. Lows will be near 74.
The likelihood of seeing rain increases this week. There will be an unsettled airmass in-place which will keep the chances for afternoon storms through the end of the week. Will everyone see rain? No. These storms will continue to be very scattered in nature. But, there is a chance to see rain in your backyard each day this week. Highs will continue to be in the mid 90s this week, possibly even warmer in spots that do not pick up any rain.
