Happy Tuesday! Temperatures have fallen below freezing in most spots this morning, and this is leading to some frost on windshields. Be sure to leave a little bit of extra time to get to your destination this morning so you can defrost your vehicle! We'll see mostly sunny skies on our Tuesday, but there will be times when high clouds cover the sky briefly as some upper-level moisture streams on in. Temperatures will fall into the mid-30s by Wednesday morning under mostly clear skies overnight.
Wednesday and Thursday will be dry with highs in the 60s. We'll see abundant sunshine on Wednesday and then partly cloudy skies for Thursday. Rain chances will start to increase late-Thursday night/early-Friday morning as a storm system moves on in from the west. This will be a relatively weak system and so the rain won't get too heavy nor is severe weather expected. Most of the rain will fall during the morning hours.
We'll dry things out for Saturday and then isolated shower chances return by Sunday. Most of Sunday will be dry. A more potent system will affect our area at the start of the next work week, bringing with it the potential for some heavy rainfall. This system will also need to be watched for severe weather potential, but chances for that at this time look low. Highs will return to the 70s on Monday.
