Families enjoy carousel day in Meridian

Families in Meridian got the chance to enjoy a day of fun this week.

The Lucile Rosenbaum Dentzel Carousel hosted carousel day. Parents got the chance to bring their kids out to enjoy the beautifully designed animals.

It also gave them the chance to experience an American pastime. We asked some of the kids at the carousel what they liked most about riding it.

"It spins really fast, and we get to see paintings of a long time ago," said one young girl.

"My favorite part about being on the carousel is getting to ride it," said another young patron.

Food and drinks were also served at the carousel.
