You probably have heard about dog shows, but did you know there are also mouse shows, which have dated back to the early 1900's?

The Fancy Mouse Breeders Association is hosting a Fancy Mouse show at Clarkco State Park this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The show will be held at the park's community room and will feature breeders from across the country. The mice will be judged by ear size, tail size, and more. Organizers say this event will be fun for the whole family.

“It’s a lot of fun for children to come and look at the animals, it’s also fun for adults who are just curious about small pets in general, mice are actually really good pets," says Allison Williams, an editor with the Fancy Mouse Breeds Association . "We do have quite a few people coming in from out of state to this event, so this will bring a few tourists to our area as well.”

There are 113 mice that will be participating in Saturday's show.
