MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - A suspect is facing charges in connection with a truck that was stolen from Nelson Hall Chevrolet over the Labor Day weekend.

32-year-old Anthony Kolp, III, has been charged with fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle, as well as possession of stolen property.

However, Kolp is not being charged with the actual break-in at the car dealership.

He was apprehended Tuesday after police located the truck outside a Meridian motel. But the MPD says Kolp tried to drive away but he was captured after a short chase.

Kolp's total bond was set at $70,000.
