Happy Friday! Temperatures are much warmer this morning as compared to yesterday thanks to the cloud cover we’ve seen overnight. Isolated showers will be possible in the afternoon today with highs in the mid-50s and mostly cloudy skies.
Scattered showers will be possible overnight as a storm system begins to affect our area. This will bring heavy rainfall throughout our Saturday with 1-3 inches of rain expected when all said and done. Minor flash flooding could be a concern in poor-drainage areas, but no widespread flooding concerns are expected.
A few leftover showers will be possible on Sunday, otherwise it will be a cold day with temperatures only in the 40s. We look to dry out entirely by Monday and the sun looks to return by then as well. Temperatures will also begin to rebound through the week with 60s expected to return by Thursday, when a weak cold front may affect our area. Due the uncertainty being this far, I’m only leaving us with stray shower chances for Thursday.
