Ample sunshine again for us today marred by only a few high clouds so far. Clouds are beginning to thicken up to our west and will see clouds increase through the evening and overnight hours. Rain showers will begin to arrive in the late morning to our area and last into the evening hours. Rain will taper off through the overnight with any leftover showers gone prior to sunrise. Rainfall amounts will generally be near a half an inch.
Clouds will thin some on Sunday with us turning partly cloudy through our Monday. Cold air arriving behind our Saturday system will keep highs at 50 (and even some upper 40s) on Monday with lows just below freezing Tuesday morning.
Tuesday begins our warming trend that will last into next weekend as highs return to the 60s on Thursday and could push 70 by Friday. A weak system will pass our area on Thursday that could touch off a stray shower, otherwise we look to remain dry until next weekend at this point.
