After a round of storms this morning that left some damage, round number two is moving through the area this afternoon. A strong to severe storm is possible as we continue into the evening hours. Storms will taper off in intensity after sunset with passing showers and a rumble of thunder overnight.
We will see periods of rain and storms Saturday through Monday. As has been the case the last day and a half, rain will not be continuous during this period. A strong to severe storm will be possible at any point, but widespread severe weather is not expected.
High will will build in briefly to dry us out on Tuesday with a weak cold front dropping into the area to bring in drier air. Lows and dew points will drop into the 60s late next week. Temperatures will warm through the back part of next week as we return to the 90s going into Father's Day Weekend.
