Friday, March 15 Morning Forecast Discussion

By  |

Happy Friday! The cold front has pushed through our area and is continuing to slowly move to the south and east away from us. Lingering showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder will be possible during the morning hours on our Friday. The rest of your Friday will feature mostly cloudy skies with highs in the low-60s. We’ll bottom out at 40 tonight as we keep with our mostly cloudy skies that also look to persist into our Saturday. Saturday will be the coldest day of the next seven, with highs in the upper-50s.

The coldest low of the next seven days will be reached Sunday morning, with temperatures expected to drop into the mid-to-upper-30s. No freeze is expected, but there could be patchy frost in spots, mainly north of I-20/US-80. 60s for highs and dry conditions will be in store Sunday through Wednesday as we finally look to have a prolonged period of dry weather. Thursday looks to be dry as well, but highs should be able to reach the 70 degree mark.
