Happy Friday! We hit the 90 degree mark for the first time in 2019 yesterday and now we look to hit the 90 degree mark again this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. I still can’t entirely rule out a rogue shower or storm impacting our area this afternoon, but thus far we have been in the clear this week and I think that trend will continue. In other words, I will be leaving rain chances out of the official 7-day forecast for our Friday. A few more clouds will build in on Saturday, and that should keep temperatures in the upper-80s.
A cold front is expected to push through our area on Sunday, and that will bring our best rain chances over the next seven days. No severe weather is expected, but one or two storms could be strong with gusty winds and small hail. Isolated storms will be leftover into Monday, but then a ridge of high pressure will build back in and keep us dry and in the 90s Tuesday through Thursday.
