Hill named executive director of MCC Foundation

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - Leia Hill has elevated to Meridian Community College vice-president of advancement and executive director of the MCC Foundation.

The MCC graduate previously worked in the foundation office from 2006 to 2014 as program coordinator of MCC’s Arts & Letters Series and Lifetime Quest programs.

She returned to MCC in July 2018 as associate vice president for college communications, leading the team in continuing to build MCC's presence in marketing and public relations as well as coordinating branding endeavors.

Hill also served the EMCC Foundation as associate vice president before returning to MCC.

MCC president, Dr. Tom Huebner announced other staff changes, including Joy Smith as coordinator for college communications and Laureta Chislom as coordinator for lifelong learning. Lauren Pratt will assume responsibility for planning and coordinating College for Kids and will continue in her position as social media coordinator and event specialist.
