MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK)- A local church put on its annual holiday gift sale in efforts to give back to local charities.
Trinity Presbyterian Church held its 9th Annual Holiday Gift Bazaar. There were 30 vendors that sold several items including jams, jelly, jewelry, and other handmade items. The church also had baked goods and ideas for gifts. All proceeds will go to local charities including Love’s Kitchen, Wesley House, and Salvation Army.
“We want to be involved in the community. We want to be a part of this community. Our folks come from different diverse backgrounds and were a welcoming church,” says Trinity Presbyterian Church Pastor Mark Flynn.
The church served seafood, chicken gumbo, and beef vegetable soup.
