Man driving tractor killed in Choctaw County

A Silas man died in a wreck Saturday night in Choctaw County.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 57-year-old George Franklin Mason was killed June 1 around 8:35 p.m.

Officials say Mason was driving a Ford farm tractor when he was struck from behind by a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer being driven by David Maurice Mosley, 56, of Pennington. Mosley was not injured.

The crash happened on U.S. Highway 84, a half-mile from the Mississippi State Line, in the Isney community.

ALEA is investigating the crash.
