Meridian's entertainment park holds grand opening
Meridian's newest attraction on Highway 45 celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting Friday attended by the EMBDC and community leaders.
Event Zona and Trampoline Park has been open for three months and organizers say business is booming.
The entertainment center features an arcade with up-to-date games, several trampoline activities, including an obstacle course, a basketball area, a fighting beam and a unique bowling alley.
“A lot of people who bowl around the city they are very happy to have bowling back. The league is back and everybody is having a good time. We’re very excited,” said Mayor Percy Bland city of Meridian.
“The people that come here, I want them to have the best experience that they can. I don’t want anybody here to leave unhappy, so I’ll do anything I can,” says regional manager, Jim Walker.
The entertainment center also includes a pro shop for bowlers.
