After a stormy and cool weekend, a beautiful day for us today as temperatures have rebounded back into the lower 70s, a few degrees below average. We will see another cool night tonight as we drop into the middle 40s with calm winds. We will see some clouds build back in Wednesday as highs warm back to the 80s where we will remain near for Thursday ahead of our next system.
Our next storm system arrives Thursday afternoon into Friday morning to bring rain and storms. It is looking likely that we will see another round of strong to severe storms for late Thursday. At this point, I think it is more likely we see a squall line over supercells, but a wind and tornado threat will be possible. We will continue to monitor as we get closer.
We will see leftover showers for Friday as the upper level low moves over the area. Temperatures will drop through the day, similar to Sunday, with some showers through the day. We dry out for Easter Weekend with highs warming back into the lower 80s by Easter Day.
