Happy Monday! We look to warm up into the low-70s today as a cold front approaches the area from the north and west. Isolated showers may fire up out ahead of the system, otherwise we look to see mostly cloudy skies for our Monday. Rain chances will increase after midnight tonight and thunder may be possible as well. No severe weather is expected with this frontal passage. Rain will be likely for our Tuesday morning, with rain showers tapering off by early-afternoon.
We’ll get a brief break from the showers on Wednesday; in fact, plenty of sunshine will be with us as highs climb to around 60. The next disturbance is set to move through by the end of the work week, though models diverge pretty significantly after Thursday. Right now I am leaving us with stray showers on Thursday and isolated showers for Friday. Expect this to change over the next few days as models get a better grasp on things.
The weekend looks dry with temperatures in the mid-to-upper-50s, but this will likely change as well over the next few days because models are all over the place at this time, especially when it comes to the temperatures.
