08/24/19 - After periods of rain through out the day today, things are beginning to quiet down. Overnight, clouds will linger across the area with lows around 72.
We continue to be stuck in a somewhat soggy pattern the next several days. A stationary boundary is sitting over the northern portion of Mississippi allowing for showers and thunderstorms to develop across our area. There is also a tropical wave off the coast of southwestern Louisiana that will move inland through the day Sunday - this will provide more showers and thunderstorms through Monday and Tuesday.
A cold front will track through the deep south during the day Wednesday that will bring cooler and drier air to us. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s Thursday and Friday with lows in the 60s!
