08/17/19 - The entire area stayed dry today, which allowed our high temperature to reach 99 in Meridian. Thankfully, due to lower dew point values in the 60s it was not as muggy as it was this time last week. We will remain dry tonight with lows around 74 overnight, with mostly clear skies.
Tomorrow, a stationary boundary to our south will lift north across the area - increasing our rain chances a tad. An afternoon storm or two will be possible but I expect the majority of us to stay dry tomorrow. The greatest chance of rain will be to our west. Overall, expect highs in the mid 90s with partly cloudy skies tomorrow. It will be a nice day to get out and go to the pool.
As we head into early next week, we will have a greater chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. This daily chance for showers exists through next weekend.
