The Fancy Mouse Breeders Association hosted a mouse show Saturday morning at the Clarkco State Park in Quitman.

The rodents were judged in several categories including size, skin, tail and ears. Saturday's show is the first time the FMBA has hosted their mouse show in the area.

Breeders came from all over the states to enter their furry friends in the show. FMBA member and mouse show judge Allison Williams said this show has a positive impact on the local community.

"It instills a sense of community here," Williams said. "It increases tourism in the area, it also brings people together."

The fancy breeders mouse association has only been around for about five years but has seen great success in it's mouse shows.
