LAUDERDALE, Miss. (WTOK) - The stands were packed Friday night as cowboys and cowgirls of all ages came out to enjoy the "greatest show on dirt" at the Ralph Morgan Arena.
Organizers say they get competitors in barrel racing and bull riding from all over the world to take part in one of the most entertaining events in east Mississippi.
"It’s always great to be here to watch this great rodeo, to be a part of it, and to be with my friends. Lauderdale is a great place and it's always a good rodeo," said rodeo announcer Mike Mathis.
Another show is set for Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The arena is off Highway 45 North at Lauderdale. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children. Kids 2 and under get in free.
