Happy Friday! We are off to a mild start with temperatures in the 50s across the area. Rain is likely today, mainly in the afternoon and evening. The rainfall could be locally heavy at times, especially during the evening commute, so be sure to use extra caution on the roadways. Rain will continue into the overnight time frame and into Saturday morning. We'll start to dry things out heading into Saturday afternoon, and we could even see peaks of sunshine by then.
Temperatures on Saturday will start in the 60s and then drop throughout the day thanks to the cold frontal passage. Temperatures Saturday afternoon will only be in the 50s. Morning lows on Sunday will be in the upper-30s. We'll see lots of sunshine on Sunday and Monday, with Monday mornings lows in the mid-30s and afternoon highs in the mid-60s.
We look to warm back up to 70 degrees by Tuesday, but that will come at the expense of rain chances returning. A weak cold front will push through Tuesday night and will bring with it a few showers Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. We'll dry out just in time for Thanksgiving and we will also see seasonal temperatures for the holiday with highs in the upper-60s.
