Retailers roll out Black Friday deals
'Tis the season for holidays deals and discounts! Big box retailers and national chains are competing for customers, including the retail giant Walmart. The staff at the Bonita Lakes Walmart gave us a sneak peek of some of the hottest gift ideas of the season.
"L.O.L, the new doll that's the hottest items for kids now and days and it's exclusively here at Walmart," said Assistant Manager Denise Barner.
There are also some great deals on hot tech items this Christmas, like the Google Home Hub starting at $99.
If you're not sure what to get the kids for Christmas, Walmart has launched an innovative way to help you find that perfect gift. On December 1st from 1 until 4, the store will let kids play with some of the hottest toys on the market. Santa will also be on scene to hear every kid’s wish list.
"The kids can come out and play with our top rated toys, they can bring their parents and show them the little ins and outs on what they want for Christmas on the #1 toys that the children have chosen," said Barner.
Holding special, in-store events and improving customer service are just a few things Walmart says it's doing to compete against online retailers.
"We still want our customers to understand that personal interaction with people is one of the most important things that we pride ourselves on because we try to take care of our customers by greeting them when they come into the stores," said Barner.
Customers will find special, rollback prices on many items now through Christmas.
"And this is one of our many ways of helping you to live better by saving money," said Barner.
Black Friday deals at Walmart start at 6, and will roll through Friday.
