Meridian, Miss. (WTOK) - Overnight tonight skies will gradually begin to clear and temperatures will drop into the upper 40s. Clear skies and chilly temperatures are to be expected for the start of tomorrow. Highs will max out in the mid-60s, and lows will drop to near 40 degrees with the help of clear skies and a light wind out of the northeast.
These nice conditions will last until mid-week with temperatures creeping up a degree or two everyday as the high pressure is shifted to our east sending a southerly flow of relatively warmer air our way. Humidity will also increase as we get closer to Wednesday and Thursday.
The chance for showers is back for Thursday with highs near 70 and mostly cloudy skies. A few remaining showers will rollover into your Friday as well, again under mostly cloudy skies. Highs for Friday will be in the mid-60s and lows in the lower 50s. For the start of the weekend things are looking to stay dry with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s.
