MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK)- A well-known organization is giving back in a big way.
Lauderdale County Habitat for Humanity held its 4th Annual High Tea and Silent Auction Saturday. The Habitat mission is to improve homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of a decent and affordable place to live. The money raised will go toward finishing the Women’s Build House project. Organizers say the project is nearly complete.
“We do this every year to raise awareness about habitat. It is also a way to reach people that would want to donate in a different way,” says Lauderdale County Habitat for Humanity Executive director Monica Bradley.
Bradley says this is an excellent event for the community to fellowship for a good cause
