The Kemper County Sheriff's department is asking for the public's help in finding four people that are believed to be in our area.

Sheriff James Moore says two cars were found on Highway 39 South in Kemper County around 2:45 Saturday afternoon. One of them had been on fire. Moore says both are stolen vehicles. He says right now authorities are looking for two white males and two white females. The men are described as wearing blue jeans. He says one of them had on a camo shirt while the other had on a light blue shirt. They were last seen on Highway 39 and possibly carrying two large duffle bags full of items. Authorities say you should call 911 if you see or come in contact with these people.
