Happy Monday! It's a warm and muggy start to our Monday as temperatures and dew points have only fallen into the low-to-mid-70s. Patchy fog may try to develop in spots, so use extra caution out on the roadways if you see that fog around. We'll see a chance of mainly afternoon and early evening scattered thunderstorms on our Monday, with highs climbing into the mid-90s. Factor in the humidity and it could feel as high as 102 degrees.
Scattered storms are in the forecast every day this week, with no one day being a particular wash-out. Just make sure to keep that rain gear handy at all times through at least Sunday. Warm and muggy days are ahead as well, with highs mainly in the low-to-mid-90s over the next seven days. The warmest day looks to be Wednesday, but your final high temperature for each day will be determined by if and when you see some rainfall. Heat index values may top out at 105 degrees at times, but most days will see the heat index around 100 degrees.
