Tactical games day 2 wrap up

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK)- The 2nd Annual Tactical Games fired their last rounds in the day two event at Meridian Public Safety Training Facility.

It was another successful year for the combat sport as the event doubled the athletes from last year. The event put athletes through defying conditions including several tactical courses that challenge each person as an athlete, shooter, and a thinker. One athlete says it was his first year competing and is looking forward to next year's event.

"The people here are great. They are very encouraging. You have to dig deep on every battle, bring it out, put it on the table, and try your hardest. Just getting through it is an achievement in itself," says Military personnel Jesse Campbell.

The event had 115 athletes to participate this year.
