The MAX held its 2nd Annual Night Market

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK)- Many people came out to The Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience for an annual event.

The MAX teamed up with Earth’s Bounty for the 2nd Annual Night Market. The market featured live music, over 30 vendors, food trucks, and the Art Walk. The goal of this event was to bring the community together, supporting local farmers and artists.

“Couldn’t be a better partnership to be with The MAX. It’s a perfect location. The weather is perfect for the venue and we’re excited to see so many people come out to enjoy downtown Meridian,” says Community Development Director Laura Carmichael.

“It just a perfect match to bring the farmer in. Support your local farmers and local artists,” says Event coordinator Elizabeth Alexander.

“Downtown Meridian, what a beautiful place to live and what a beautiful place to enjoy this kind of event,” says director of marketing and communication Jerome Trahan.

Trahan mentioned The MAX will have a night of music at Maxie’s featuring Eden Brent and Bob Dowell tomorrow from 6 pm to 9 pm.
