The upcoming week starts dry, could end wet
We had a beautiful Sunday with high temperatures in the upper 60s, after starting out below freezing this morning in many locations. Overnight, our winds begin to become more westerly which will bring in a touch of more mild air. Therefore, lows tonight will be in the upper 30s compared to the low 30s last night.
TOMORROW: A weak cold front will pass through the twin states but will only bring a few passing clouds and more dry air into the region. Highs tomorrow will top out in the low 60s, some locations may not even get out of the upper 50s.
LOOKING AHEAD: We are on a gradual warm up this week, back to more seasonable temperatures. By Wednesday, highs will warm to the 70s as we return to a southerly flow. Thursday, rain chances will increase ahead of our next weather maker. A front is expected to pass through Friday which could bring showers and thunderstorms across the region through the day. Timing is not consistent right now so stay tuned through out the week as we get a better idea. Regardless, it could be a wet end to the week.
