Three suspects arrested in shooting of sheriff's son

Three people have now been arrested after the Noxubee County sheriff's son was shot last week.
Sheriff Terry Grassaree's son, Roman Mattox, was shot last Friday at the intersection of North Street and MLK Street in Macon.
Lauderdale County deputies took David Hampton into custody Tuesday. He's charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
Terrance Fifer was previously arrested in Meridian, and Jamesha Earvin was arrested in Suqualak. Both are charged with accessory before the fact.
Macon Police Chief Devine Beck says the investigation is ongoing. More charges could be coming, but they believe all the people involved are in custody.
Mattox was taken to a hospital for treatment. Chief Beck says he's now back at home recovering from his injuries.
