Another beautiful and seasonal day for us with temperatures actually running slightly cooler than yesterday, to place us near our normal high for this time of year. We will see high clouds stay with us tonight and cold as we drop to 28, making back-to-back nights below freezing for the first time since December 5 and 6.
Clouds will thicken up on Friday in advance of our next system that will be here on Saturday. Showers will arrive late morning on Saturday and last into the evening hours with a leftover shower possible before sunrise on Sunday. Rainfall amounts have been consistently shown to be less than half an inch, so I will update the forecast to reflect that. To be fair, that has been my thoughts for most of the week, just wanted to remain less than an inch should some heavier rain develop. That now looks less likely as more widely scattered showers look to be the rain mode, so I will also drop rain chances to better reflect a showery day.
Colder air filters in behind this front, but only just below normal, as highs drop to around 50 for Monday with lows again below freezing Tuesday morning. We should warm late next week back to 60 before rain arrives either next Friday or Saturday.
