Happy Thursday! We’ll see mostly sunny skies for your day today with highs expected to climb into the upper-80s. High pressure will remain in control through Saturday; however, I can’t entirely rule out a rogue shower or storm through this time frame due to increasing humidity across our area. A cold front will eventually swing on through during the Sunday/Monday time frame, bringing back rain chances to our forecast. The better chance of rain and storms will be on Sunday. Severe weather is not expected at this time.
We’ll get even warmer as we head into next week and if we haven’t hit the 90 degree mark for the first time this year by then, we will more than likely get there next week. Another cold front will approach the area by the middle of next week, but it may weaken enough before it gets here to cause any concerns. Keep in mind that being this far out, the forecast for next week may change and rain chances may or may not have to be added to Wednesday in the future.
