Ample sunshine for us today as Fall has finally arrived as all of us are in the 70s area wide. The core of cooler air for this round will be felt tonight as just about all of us should drop into the upper 40s for the first time since May 1. Highs stay in the middle 70s for Friday with game time temperatures tomorrow mainly in the 50s.
Temperatures will warm through the weekend in advance of a cold front that will stall to our west Saturday and Sunday. The result is highs back into the 80s with rain staying away until Monday or Tuesday. Rain does not look to be widespread, but stray showers will be around the area through Wednesday as a front stalls around the area.
The same questions about cold air arriving with the front next week are trying to clear a bit. It appears the front should clear the area through the day on Wednesday to usher in the cooler temperatures before we attempt to warm for the back half of next week. While 60s do not look as likely at this point, at least for most of us, lowers look likely as has been in the forecast for the last couple of days.
